Fexofenadine is an antihistamine. It works against the naturally occurring chemical histamine in the body. Fexofenadine prevents sneezing; runny nose; itching, watery eyes; and other allergic symptoms.
Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant. It constricts (shrinks) blood vessels (veins and arteries). By decreasing blood flow, it decreases congestion

| HOW TO TAKE THIS MEDICATION |
| Serious side effects are unlikely to occur with the use of Allegra D. If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking the medication and contact your doctor immediately or seek emergency medical attention:
-an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
-an irregular heartbeat; or
-seizures.

| Drug interactions can result in unwanted side effects or prevent a medicine from doing its job. |

| MISSED DOSE |
| Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take only the next regularly scheduled dose. Keep doses at least 12 hours apart. Do not take a double dose of this medication. |
